They were mentioning Movies a lot in the opening, with Bette wanting to go to the Cinema, Elsa being obsessed with them. She also mentioned Alfred Hitchcock, so I'm betting on something to do with a Movie Theater, Psycho Serial Killer?
Also there were tons of references to planets, so maybe a full blown alien season.

No I think the movie references were there because of Elsa wanting to be this big star, her character was based on Marlene Dietrich too right?
Those def. aren't clues then...

Just because they have to do with the plot or her character doesnt meant they can't be clues.

My question is would they do a whole season of alien stuff though?
They already had that in Asylum so I'd find it weird that they'd use that again...

Lol but it just seems too obvious for them to be clues, I'd imagine Ryan wanting to be super sneaky with it.
Were there any clues for Freakshow in Coven?

I don't want a full season of aliens
it would be better if it were a more practical season, no supernatural anything, set in a suburban neighborhood, and about a serial killer kinda like a mix between the original Halloween and Scream.. there would be a lot of good opportunity there to make it creepy

Not Gloria elegantly reading Elsa's singing.
I'm ready for the next episode. :

In pretty much every damn episode. Fiona says Freakshow in Episode 1, Queenie says the house is a Carnival of Horrors in Ep 5. Madison calls Nan Mumbles the Clown in Episode 8.
There are tons more.

But for real Twisty is barely scary. Ryan made it sound like he was gonna be terrifying...disappointed tbh

Oh, I never noticed those.
Then the movie references should be taken into consideration.

I bet he'll get way scarier + we haven't seen what's beneath that mouth right?

On a different note: We are obviously going to find out what is going on with Twisty's mouth, yes?
Oh, without a doubt. And you won't like it. You see origin stories in the season. There are beautiful episodes coming up and you begin to feel empathy for the people who you think are the worst people in the world.

Anyone else think when Ryan said about Coven that Kathy Bates and Jessica will start as best friends but become enemies, that he either changed or scrapped that idea and added it into Freak Show? They seem like good friends now, but when Ethel was comforting her she seemed nice and tender, but then she looked all pissed and absolutely done with Elsa.
I see it coming.

I think Twisty's just trying to entertain people. From the way he's behaving, it seems he has a mental disorder (or multiple) that prevents him from understanding social cues properly; he seemed to be acting alright as long as Bonnie was entertained, but he didn't get violent until Troy came up and questioned him.
Then when he was in the bus with the young kid & Bonnie, he was pulling his clown tricks in what looked like an attempt to please them, but then laughed when Bonnie faked entertainment. He then continued more tricks, but they failed to have any reaction on the kids, and when the balloon popped, he was upset, and began to freak out.
Considering Ryan said that Twisty has innocent motives and seems so "human", I think this idea makes sense.
I also feel like they'll thrown in an idea that the kid's parents were abusive or something, or other people, like Troy, that wouldn't be entertained by his tricks. And since it's said he's mad about the freak show, he's mad because people will be distracted by the freak show so they won't pay attention to him?
