And then Kendrick Lamar really showed his true colours as a desperate attention-seeker with that unnecessary diss to every rapper in the game. Kendrick Lamar was definitely a fad, meanwhile A$AP Rocky has more longevity. And, yeah, Kendrick Lamar is also desperate to be Kanye West, but failing in every way.

Had she come onto the scene saying "I'm a country gal forever and I will never make pop music!" then sure, she's a sell out. But none of that ever happened. She's been making country-pop since her debut, with more emphasis on the pop with each release, and now she's just being honest about wanting to make pop music.
