Yeah Anaconda was made for Rhythmic radio which is why that's where it's doing decent at. Too pop for Urban and too risky/urban for Pop. She should just send a pop song to pop radio (something like starship or superbass) and another song to urban. I'm surprised Urban radio hasn't really grabbed any of her singles this era.

Erm, I see what you are saying though. Anaconda could be seen as radio friendly. Perhaps the subject matter is what might not appeal to top 40.

For instance, I remember back in the day certain songs would get "day/parted" or something meaning they'd only be played/or played more in the evening due to their risque lyrics...
Anaconda was definitely added and PUSHED to pop radio so the leg work was there.

I hope it can remain in the top 10 for the next 3 months though.

I dunno about that.

Complete Your Album only adversely affects HDS position, not Hot 100 points. They changed that policy...last year, I think?

And while supposedly instant grat points won't count, I'm pretty sure the gratified downloads for SIO were almost all during the SIO week of release. So that shouldn't make a difference either.

You know Super Bass was a big urban radio hit? So if Nicki did another song like that then what would be the point in releasing a separate urban single? She might as well just send the Super Bass-like song and get extra airplay.
