Where are Tinashe's stans? Retro, get in here. I just finished listen to "Aquarius" from Tinashe.

I was expecting very little from this album. Frankly, if an artist is vapid enough to name an album after their astrology sign, then you can pretty much bank on the album being pseudo-deep nonsense, which "Aquarius" essentially is. It's like those sad, uninteresting individuals who get tattoos of their astrology sign on their body.

The good news, Tinashe's voice, although nothing spectacular, isn't nearly as unremarkable as Jhené Aiko's voice -- what really carries "Aquarius" are the productions. The bad news, what really carries "Aquarius" are the productions, which essentially overshadow or bury Tinashe. Not to mention, Tinashe has an Ariana Grande problem, as in, half the time, you can't understand what she's singing.

Stand outs: "Bet" (The Drake Clone) and "How Many Times" (The Aaliyah Clone). The rest is trash.

"How Many Times" has a very infectious hook. Should have already been a single.
