Yawn at some of you acting like your life depends on how much a pop star grosses on a tour

Let's take this into consideration, the artRave is one of her smallest tours, obviously for health reasons (no one wants her to damage her hip again), her tickets are cheap because she wants all her fans to be able to attend but yet she's still able to make an insane amount of money and is about to have a career total of half a billion from touring. I think that's incredible

Cyndi's third album (which didn't even peak in the top 20) sold like 1 million WW when all the big artists were doing 15 million and up. Also, all of her other studio albums in the 90s sold less than 200k. So yeah, no comparison at all.

Not only did I enjoy Cheek To Cheek, but it really made me impatient to see how her new management will handle her promotion. The promo for Cheek To Cheek has been flawless and the album is, so far, selling decently.

Just reread your post lol I just saw Cyndi and sales in the post and immediately thought you were comparing their careers.

Oh no! I have a bigger expectations for Gaga than that. Unlike Cyndi, she created a fanbase and a brand. It all now just depends on when her style will come back into mainstream media. Cheek to Cheek was an excellent idea tho and opens her up to a new crowd.
