Does anyone else remember the thread from ~2 years ago that said Rude by Mag!c would be a 2014 radio smash? Everyone in the thread said the song would flop, but omg I need to found out the nostradaumas/industry insider....
I'm so proud to be a kesha fan. The most successful indiepop artist of this generation. Superb talent, quality music, respect from legends.

Their era is doing way better than I thought it would. I'm expecting another platinum album when all is said and done.
Yeah, Maps was far from a big hit but a hit nonetheless and its sales are okay and it'll probably top at 3M WW and IDK how Animals will fare, but it's getting good adds on Pop so that should be another top ten.
And the album will definitely scan Gold so 2 Top 10's and Gold (possibly Platinum) album and a tour that will do well (if they tour) = solid era.

Maps was a certified hit and kept their hype alive, so it did its job. Animals is looking to outperforming Maps at the moment.
