Um....... so are they just telling us there's an iTunes countdown? That's all that was about? Ok... First Jimmy Fallon false hype and now iTunes. This era is a mess.
No1currs about outtake videos in comparison to promo songs.
ia, but for some reason they feel they are sufficient for managing hype. So they aren't going to release a new song while still pushing those outtake videos out.
The only thing I'm disappointed about is all the sales towards the promo single next week won't count towards its charting position unless people specifically buy the single & not pre-order the album. After 10/10, pre-orders won't count towards the single's charting position. So... pretty much today was the last chance to release to get the most success.
I've learned how to play Teardrops, Tim McGraw, Sparks Fly, The Best Day, Tied Together With A Smile, Cold As You (made my own original finger plucking tabs actually), SuperStar, and almost all her other songs on guitar!!!! They're so fun to play!
Why do people keep bringing up "Jimmy Fallon hype"? Like, what hype? There was never any sort of hint/suggestion/tease from Taylor or her team (or even anything from Jimmy Fallon or his show), so why are people acting like she was hyping something up when nothing even happened? A tweet from Will.I.Am. tagging Taylor (when he had tweets tagging other people at the same time) meant nothing, I would think people had enough common sense to realize that it was for the song they were talking about breaking the Hot 100 for days beforehand.

Did billboard, iTunes, or soundscan confirm this though? I ain't taking some dudes blog as confirmation.
