Y'all need to go watch this chiller from Sweden. It has subtitles but dont let that put you off its so weird, beautiful, intelligent, touching and unusual. Its also shocking and brutal as a horror film. It has so many layers that you wouldnt get in US horror movies. It also has an adolescent love story thread to it which I think US films would steer away from.

Must see masterpiece. 10/10.

Favorite Franchises: A Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, Final Destination, Evil Dead, Saw (not to say I LIKE every movie/don't stan for individual movies from others)
Least Favorite Franchise: Paranormal Activity
Favorite Standalones: Carrie, The Shining, Suspiria, Repo! The Genetic Opera, Cabin in the Woods, The Descent
Least Favorite Horror Movies: The Descent 2, The Rage: Carrie 2 (NEITHER EXISTS TO ME), Paranormal Activity 1

the first VHS was way better I'm a little let down. I do agree that Safe Haven was the best part though.

I actually think I preferred 2. None of 1's were as good as Safe Haven, none of 2's were as awful as Second Honeymoon or Tape 56. In general I found both to be mixed bags. As far as 1 goes, Amateur Night & Tuesday the 17th were my favs. The Haunted House one was okay-ish too. Didn't care for the others

I need help figuring out what movie I'm thinking of...

It takes place early 1900s or late 1800s... It's about a family in the middle of the woods and the daughter is being haunted by a demon/poltergeist because she is (was) sexually active... Any ideas? I know it's vague. I'd say it came out between 2006 - 2012..

This is a pretty popular movie and there had been a US remake that was pretty good.

That movie was really really good! have u seen the US remake is actually really good as well and they didn't ruin.
