The Super Bowl is a big promo platform, I think it was ok when the NFL didn't pay anything to the performers but they covered all the expenses. An artist paying for the half-time isn't the best option, it would take away the "achievement" imo.
nnn I'm glad my fave doesn't sell in Australia, what do we have to say about a country that stans for pink, katy perry and where LMFAO are one of the biggest bands of all time? No thank you, the fact they have all those nasty bugs and animals in there whew I'd never go to that place
They think the platform of the HT at the SB is worth paying for.

Rihanna's album/single ratio in Australia is just.
She actually makes more money off her singles than her albums.
Unapologetic sold 900k singles and just 70k albums.
And We Found Love sold 6x as much as TTT in Australia. It doesn't matter that much tbh. Records sold are records sold.
True, I was kind of proud of Maleficent smashing everywhere and only underperforming in Australia. The only place where Jason Derulo can be a touring artist.
I kinda wonder how Katy has been so warmly accepted by the Australians. I thought they hated popstars who were bad performers or bad lipsyncers. They gave scathing reviews to the Siamonds Tour and practically dragged Britney out the country during the Circus Tour saying the tour tickets shouldn't say ''LIVE'' on them (which I'm glad they did. her handlers always let her get away with so little b/c they can)
