His impact is not lasting as he's forgotten. For example, real legends from the entertainment industry are: Michael Jackson, Angelina Jolie, The Beatles, Elvis, etc. And if I want to listen to decent 80's music, I'll search for Michael Jackson. Why would I want to watch a video if someone who's clearly in the closet and whose music has aged terribly?
