Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle has revealed that the group are reluctant to try for success in the US.

The singer confirmed that the girls may decide to concentrate solely on the UK music market because they regard promotion in the States as too much hassle.

"Labels want to sign us," Coyle told RWD magazine. "But we're asking ourselves whether we really want to start off from scratch doing all the crap to work our way up again or are we happy at the level we're at now - where we have a safe haven in the States where no-one knows who we are or what we're doing?"

The band reportedly signed a new three-album deal earlier this month.

Previous reports had stated that the singers were at war over Coyle's lack of commitment to the group.

Yeah they could release there new album over there as there debut and release "The Loving Kind" to radio. Release it to iTunes about a month after the song and video 2 weeks before.

But I reckon its a good idea for them at this momement. if they don't want to do the hard work, its up to them.

They never had any success in Australia & New Zealand; when they went there during the Biology Era. So I very much doubt the US would take to them.

They know their limits, which is good.

Yeah I totally agree. I think they know that they could never have the success The Spice Girls had in the US. They have never made it big anywhere outside the UK really. They had a stint in the Netherlands charts for a while. I think they're good enough to have fans from around the World but not have success in charts. They're doing good enough without going to the US to flop.

They're lazy.

They know they can quite happily put out one album and three singles a year at a leaisurely pace in the UK, do an arena tour and then take four months off. They then use their Network South East railcards, take a trip to Kent, record the next album with Xenomania and start again.

No flights to take, no need for big budget videos, ready made home grown market. The perfect parochial pop stars.
