I say it has more to do with her being seen as powerful as well as being a black woman who talks so openly about sex. People get intimidated real quick.

I also don't like that people think making digs at her level of intelligence is somehow supposed to be a disqualification when it comes to being a feminist
Gaga's writing is pretty poor as well. She has a habit of using "you're" and "your" interchangeably, for example. Most celebrities aren't as smart as you all think.

I agree she comes across as very bitter these days but if your adopted daughter and husband had an affair right under your nose it's likely that you'd go a bit crazy too.
