I know. It was the most logical belief but in a way I'm glad its in 2014...because it fits within my plan.
After PFRR tanked I thought that meant the release plan would move up but I hope it sticks to my original plan

I must admit, I knew Anaconda video would go viral but I didn't think the song itself would be such a hit.

Digital sales are down tremendously from 2013, though. A song could be Top 5 on digital sales for weeks and still take forever to go platinum.

Sales going down is obvious which makes it easier for songs to hit #1 on digital charts and stay in the top 10 which would make people believe its selling more than it really is?

You made no sense, but I'll try to decipher. A song that remained at #4 on the Hot Digital Songs chart in 2012 went Platinum much quicker than a song that remained #4 on the Hot Digital Songs chart in 2014.
