EDIT: So today, like 25 minutes ago actually, I wrote another song in 15 minutes and I really like it. And the I realized the past 4 songs I've written have all been in a similar folk/rock genre and have had similar themes. So I decided to just make a short live EP (basically acoustic recordings on my phone  ) and post it here. So here's the track list and everything. I'll post all 4 songs when I actually record the last one and a lot of you have probably already heard the first one.

^ Wow, you've got a lot of talent! I love Kiss Me Down Low. I can definitely hear the Bastille/Kacey Musgraves influence haha.

I was listening to No Bass Like Home by Lily Allen, and it inspired me to write a song that I think would go with a 90s House Beat (similar to NBLH or Rather Be, etc). It's called 'House'

I feel like it's one of those songs that would need a catchy instrumental to make it work, because by themselves the lyrics are kind of generic. I've written more personal stuff, maybe I'll share it in the future

After having my Your Love cover taken down by Soundcloud bc of copyright stuff, it makes me want to focus more on my own stuff. I finally have a real studio mic, so I'm gonna work on the stuff Nait sent me a while back

Is that one song  Thats huge. The first part makes me think of if Pitbull and Gaga did a collab

I've had this idea for a song inspired basically about that I'm completely in love and have been for nearly 4 years now and I wanted to write a song about it.
When people think of the greatest love stories of all time they think of Romeo and Juliet amongst others and I wanted to try capture that immediate association of true love with these couples but make it apply to my relationship, so basically when people think of true love they will think of me and my boyfriend.
I just have this lyric so far:
"When we're long gone and nothing but dust, they'll still be telling the story of us"
However my guitar is broken so I haven't been able to do anything with the idea yet! Buying a new one in a few days though

I did a gig (borrowed a friend's guitar) last night and sang my most recent song "Nicotine" about my friend's mum smoking herself to death and I had 4 people approach me afterwards saying my performance really resonated with them and has made them decide to try quit smoking. It was such a nice feeling to know that it touched people in that way the first time I ever publicly performed it, hopefully they actually do stop and improve their quality of life!

OMG thats great! Its always good to know you made a difference. The biggest success you can have in songwriting is emotionally connecting to the listener

Adam told me to let it die then make a new one, but I could ask in HQ to claim the OP since Adam is going to be banned for a while.

Oh, okay. Glad you don't hate me then. I would've done the app for Platinum Hit, but we did kind of have that tradition of a different host every season, and I didn't feel like breaking that.
