Sure, but still none of them can reach the peak of HBO's quadruple slayage with The Sopranos, The Wire, Six Feet Under & Deadwood. We can argue and make points that some of nowadays shows are up to par with many I mentioned but it was the mix and bulk of them that made it the Golden Era. Breaking Bad & Mad Men are the only ones I'd rank in the same tier.
I can give The Walking Dead credit for its approach of making a show in the size of a movie for several episodes but not for its violence. Sons of Anarchy had three good seasons.

I agree that I doubt a network will ever serve shows like HBO did in the early 00s.And clearly SFU remains my favorite show of all time but I do think GOT might overtake The Sopranos for me depending on what they will do with the story once they run out of book material. But @Nippy also makes a good point that the quality shows are more common and not all broadcasted by a single network. You got HBO,FX,AMC,Showtime and more and still all these Internet channels.
I think you find more amazing shows these days but most of them aren't close to the Golden Era quality
On a side note: Nip/Tuck was perfect from start to finish
