and how exactly is pop from Rihanna considered reinvention???
but Pop is something Rihanna has been doing since her 2nd album
her look is the only thing that would be considered a reinvention
I meant her image as well as music, as her look normally reflects the music. A lighter look + pop music (as in AGLM & Loud) is what I'd like from R8, but in the end I don't really mind
Also Rated R and Unapologetic are def completely urban albums.
There are more urban songs on Una than pop. That's for sure.
Urban: Phresh, Pour It Up, Lov7 Song, Jump, Nobody's Business, No Love Allowed, Numb
In the middle: What Now, Get It Over With, Lost In Paradise
Pop: Love Without Tragedy, Stay, Diamonds, Right Now

Rih's last three albums have all been the same. A few pop ballads, a few dance songs, a few 'urban' songs. You could mix and mash songs from those three albums and no one would really notice the difference
Lol, no. No songs from Loud or TTT would fit in on Una.

Huh? Dangerously In Love, B'Day, 4 and BEYONCE are all extremely urban and probably more urban than any Rihanna album.
Exactly. To say that Rih has never done a non-pop album is just like saying Beyst hasn't either. They both have albums that are somewhat pop but mostly urban (except Rih's are also dancehall)
