Even some artists without mega hits re-release their albums with new tracks. It's a pretty common thing. It doesn't even need to be a whole bunch of new songs, just 2-3 new tracks would be enough. PRISM is a successful album and has had two very big singles so it'd be more than beneficial to have a reissue, especially as reissue lead singles (new tracks) tend to fare a lot better than releasing year-old songs from the original album.

We need a re-release because there's around 7 tracks we still need to hear, including the flawless sounding North Star (third Greg Wells track) and Had a Heart (Kacey Musgraves co-write) and Work It, the flawless Cathy Dennis co-write that was scraped from The Complete Confection because Russell sucks.


Wish Prism had been released as a Double Album as originally planned. Katys album tracks that everyone hates are usually my favourites.

Then, she must rest for like 4-5 months and start collaborating with critical acclaimed producers. I don't know the direction she wants to take but I want the new album to have a lot of teenage dream, firework, et, wide awake and spiritual in it
