Is there any benefit in submitting a live recording instead of the studio version?
Live versions are only submitted when the studio versions are deemed ineligible.
Adele, Train, Maroon 5, Roy Orbison, Sarah McLachlan and Sheryl Crow have all won vocal performance awards for live tracks. Beyonce has been nominated twice.
John usually sounds good live so his nomination would be deserving. I prefer the live performances of All of Me to the studio version. It's still a terrible song, though.
Beyonce stans are literally the pits. They come into every single britney because theyre so insecure about their infertile, brain dead, fat thighed fave. Beyonce has no personality, no eggs, no real marriage, and sucks as a performer. Her dancing is mediocre. She shakes her ass like a monkey and the hive thinks its gods gift. Britney will always be more loved than beyonce because she's real and doesnt photoshop her instagram photos and doesnt care if she looks bad some days or not. Beyonce thinks she's perfect which is f***ed up and she contributes to most of the self-image problems young girls+gays (the hive) have. The day beyonce actually is successful without any stupid marketing strategy lmk, enjoy this successful era because its the last.
Oh and come after britney's mental illness! Im so over it at this point. The beyhive probably isnt educated, just like their fave, so they dont understand what mentall illness is and how its just as severe as physical illnesses. Attacking britney for that is like attacking someone for having cancer. how fu**ed up does this look:

“Gone Girl” is a loooong 149 minutes. Perhaps Flynn, who did the adaptation, has been a little too faithful to her novel. The faux-punchiness of her dialogue doesn’t help matters. The characters sound like people trying to sound like people in the movies and not quite pulling it off.
Looks like Flynn was way too impressed by her novel to do justice to the screenplay. Overindulgence and believing your own hype can be a major problem.
Scheisse is so embarrassing. Hating on Beyonce for using smart and efficient marketing strategies when Britney used constant cheap gimmicks throughout the first ten years of her career to become talked about and successful.
"All of Me" (Live) could win it. John Legend is a Grammy favorite + "All of Me" was huge and right up voters' alley. I think it will be a competitive category if AoM + Happy + Stay With Me are all nominated.
It’s never a good sign when the supporting cast is the best thing in a big, splashy movie. Coon’s Margo is smart and personable and lively as Affleck’s Nick never is. (Just because his character’s meant to be unsympathetic doesn’t mean his performance should be inert.) Kim Dickens’s police detective nicely combines sourness and staying power. Playing a high-powered defense attorney, Tyler Perry is smooth, funny, and unflappable. “Gone Girl” would be a lot more entertaining, and probably a lot better, if he and Affleck had exchanged roles.
An egregiously miscast Neil Patrick Harris, as an old beau of Amy’s, at least has a vividness neither principal does. Affleck looks even more uncomfortable than Nick ought to be, and that’s saying a lot. As for Pike, she looks like an elongated Renée Zellweger on nasty pills. (What has Renée Zellweger been up to?)
Misogyny has a long and unattractive history in the movies. Despite Flynn’s being a woman, “Gone Girl” adds to that history. Amy is amazing, all right, and in ways unimaginable to her parents — or viewers. Maybe readers could imagine them, but things on the page can get by a phoniness detector in a way that things on the screen can’t. Seeing is believing, yes. It can be disbelieving, too.
Her choruses to “Body Ache” and “Work Bitch,” meanwhile, sound like holding-pattern preludes to the club riffs that follow, rather than vice versa, leaving the impression that she’s merely guesting on her own material. And when Spears brings the tempo down on “Perfume,” she sounds like Gwen Stefani singing Justin Timberlake’s “Mirrors.” Nowhere does “Britney Jean” sound like Britney Spears. (Out Tuesday)
