I have no problem watching a movie that I already know the plot to, but when it comes to books, I can't really devote myself to several hundred pages if I already know it from a film (I love re-reading books though, so idk if that really makes sense).

IMO, the book edits the few unnecessary aspects of the book. And I think that it's best to experience the story the first time to Fincher's astounding visuals.

I could see it tomorrow night but I'm just feeling impulsive and there is a showing literally the second I get off work (movie theater is only a few feet away). It's awesome going to movie theaters at night. I remember when I went to Wolf of Wall Street the week it came out at, like, ten and was the only person in the theater.
