That one member has the breakdown, but you make something like a few cents per stream if you're writing the material. That adds up when a song or video is getting hundreds of millions of streams.

Tbh, I think a lot of artists lie about their ages, but only a few people are caught (like Nicki). Not saying Brit and Xtina are one, but some others.....

Now that Barbra Streisand’s first new album in forever immediately shot to No. 1 on the national charts, SiriusXM radio would like to put in a claim for a modest assist.
Part of the promotion for the album was her own channel on SiriusXM, and while that obviously wasn’t the only factor, it did mean 26.3 million subscribers were potentially exposed to the new record.
Radio has always been a primary promotion vehicle for music, and there’s no reason to think it didn’t also happen here.
