the day of the surprise release I was going left and right; like bitch Haunted music video was uploding so slowly so I was reading the tweets ( tweeter Hive was being a mess screaming everywhere; even some NAVY became HIVE this day ) I barely read ATRL; I just came to see the level of meltdown.
I was betting my money that PRETTY HURTS was the lead and that HALO would be surpassed commercially
ATRL was live the day of the release. Twitter was ridiculous. Literally every board I went to was freaking out (Brandy source, Prince, the Beyhive, Golden Derby lol). I doubt there will be another moment in pop culture like that for a long while. When I'm down I go back to all those threads to feel good. The excitement was palpable.
I just remember randomly looking up beyonce on Twitter and seeing someone say whelp beyonce just released an album. Then I checked itunes and there it all was
