The production itself is fine the problem is the song was too sped up. Overproduced would be something like Americano where it's basically a wall of noise and the vocals are grating.

I don't think it was shameless, she used all the options that she had at the moment probably knowing it was a tight race. If you have a following as a star or band would you not ask your fans to support them?

Oh, it was definitely shameless, but not desperate. No shady tactics were used, such as 99c sales and giving away the album with tour tickets. Each album was fairly bought by consumers.

Exactly. I love 'Hair', 'BR', and Rebecca F.'s 'Juda', but those things are just giant walls of sounds.

IMO, I don't think it's up for debate whether or not DJWS is a good producer because factually speaking he is. Songs like 'Sexxx Dreams' and 'Gov't Hooker' are so rich, vibrant, and full of deep production. Better than anything RedOne could ever do.

The album version, I don't know, but Sex Dreams at iTunes Festival with the slower tempo and original bridge could have been her best work to date. Either way, DJWS is still responsible for it, it was his beat she probably wrote around so yes, DJWS > RedOne in this case.
