A lot of them appreciate how outlandish and musically talented she is. Don't forget Rick Ross loves her and so did Kanye. And Beyonce's husband does as well.
The thing I find most interesting about Yellow Flicker Beat is the beat.
Most of the song the beat is mimicking a heartbeat (thump thump, thump thump), and then at the very end of the song, it suddenly transitions directly from the heartbeat into Lorde her long, sustained, monotone hum for the outro, which is mimicking a flatline (ie. the heartbeat stopped).
A lot of them appreciate how outlandish and musically talented she is. Don't forget Rick Ross loves her and so did Kanye. And Beyonce's husband does as well.
