Mess. My least favorite SNSD member is kicked out the group. I thought I would be content with this, but I'm not.

Their statement makes no sense whatsoever. They make it sound like Sica wanted to leave and was planning to do so, yet her Weibo posts tell a different story.
Doesn't sound like someone who was planning on going anywhere

They don't have that either? IGAB perhaps, but really, that's it.

I don't think any of their title songs sound like Gee though?

Because Jessica and Krystalwas so real and raw? I loved that only now is it coming out that Tyler Kwon was at filming, yet he was never shown and they still talked about boys and stuff, like Sica was single and ready to mingle . I wouldn't be shocked if SM pushed her out because of marriage and are using BLANC as a scapegoat. Like, they said something along the lines of, "If she wants to be married, she won't be an idol any longer". Cause how many idols have side businesses? A lot do. How many idols are married...? ... Yeah.
The fanmeeting is starting soon and is going to be a complete MESS, or at least I hope so (in a non destructive way of course)

But there's rumour of her want to leave and get married like 24326533 months ago
And she does look like she's so over her idol life. Both her and her sister

Again we talk about SNSD, the same group that had a scandal because Taeyeon was dating.

What world are you living in?
And KARA's disrespectful scandal is way worse than Taeyeon's

Yeah, because speculation and rumours are always reliable? Why are you even consulting rumours, when you have fact right there, posted from the source?
How does she look like she's over idol life when she never missed any performances, recently did an invasive reality show amongst promotions/touring and posted "my priority and love is to serve as a member of GG" when she found out (at 5am) that she was being kicked out? That doesn't make sense and if it doesn't make sense, it's 98% not true.

People need to stop. Jessica leaving is really no surprise, Oniontaker has been giving hints for months now. Her upcoming wedding was also predictable. The whole ending is a mess though (no one was expecting that kind of post from her) and we still don't know what trully happened.

I am devastated.
Jessica will always be part of Girls' Generation in my heart, she was way too important and EVERYONE will notice her absence from now on, listening to other girls singing her lines will be heartbreaking.
Her voice was special, her attitude was special, Jessica was special and nobody will be ever able to replace her.
I'm am extremely hurt, Girls' Generation are my favorite group along with 2NE1, I follow them since 2009 and I can't believe what is happening right now.
I wish all the best to Jessica from now on with her career and hope she'll launch a male line with her brand, I wanna support her.
Also, I'd like to listen what the other members think, I won't believe a word until they say something.

OK i re-read the whole thing and i got it

Through a press release on September 30, SM Entertainment stated, "This spring, Jessica told the company that due to a personal situation, she will be stopping team promotions after the end of one more album promotion," said SM Entertainment. "Despite Jessica′s sudden announcement, the company and the SNSD members persistently worked hard and pondered on how to continue promotions in a good direction for SNSD."
The statement continued, "However, before agreements could be made on rising conflicts regarding the priority and interests of SNSD promotions, Jessica began her fashion-related business, and a situation arose where it became difficult to maintain the team despite continuous discussions."
"With this, the company decided it had to promote SNSD with eight members sooner than expected, and while it was discussing when to announce the news, Jessica posted her own perspective in the early morning."
Earlier at 5AM KST on this day, Jessica posted on her Weibo, "I was excited about our upcoming fan events only to shockingly be informed by my company and 8 others that as of today, I′m no longer a member. I′m devastated - my priority and love is to serve as a member of GG, but for no justifiable reason, I am being forced out."
|
First of all, in MARCH, Jessica told everybody that she will be out of the group after the next promotion (assuming January 2015). Of course her decision caused some conflicts between the members and with the company
Then in AUGUST, Jessica launched her branch and put all her efforts in it. So the members and the company thought that she has no interest in the group anymore, she just wants to use the fame of the group for her own business and she's a barrier for the group to move on.
So they kick her out of the group earlier than planned (= by the end of the next promotion). That's why she seems shocked by this decision even tho she planned on leaving

I watched the whole season and Jessica never really mentioned dating for herself. It was always in the context of Krystal. She did talk about marriage a lot though, which doesn't really deny anything.
I actually think the show was a lot more honest than the TTS show, especially the season finale.
Sica even posted that she was looking forward to the China fan meet so it's going to be a mess. The other members won't be able to ignore her absence.

I'd argue that it was a massive surprise. Considering everyone's shock and surprised responses.

The bold is BS though.
Just take a look at BLANC's website and she doesn't mention SNSD anywhere. Even in her bio there's no mention of the group.
She is using her own solo profile not the group. You're acting as if she was showing up to SNSD group events saying "hey guys check out my sunglasses". No she wasn't.
She always planned to use her own status, that's why she attended so many events in China and took so many CFs there.
It's no different to Yoona, Yuri and Sooyoung promoting as actresses. They use their own profile with their full names. They aren't on the drama credits as " SNSD Yoona" etc.

I don't believe SM. They're not trustworthy and have proven that over multiple scenarios. I'm shocked people are still on their side... You could link me 100 of their statements and I would all of them. Give me Sica's genuine and shocked Weibo updated, over that PR mess anyday. Hers says more than anything SM's lawyers can type.
The fact is she sounded shocked, as if there was never a discussion about anything being an issue that would result in termination. Termination of a contract is pretty serious. And again, I never personally saw BLANC being distracting. I don't think any fans of SNSD did. Sica never missed a performance and she even did solo activities for fans/SM with the reality show, so how can they say that? It reads like BS. It took them like 8 hours to make that up.

BLANC was supposed to have it's launch party last month, but it conflicted with SNSD schedules, so Sica postponed it. More examples that SM's statement is BS.
Sica better turn this into a positive for herself, because this is the most anyone besides her has cared about/typed BLANC since it's creation/announcement.

Which goes back to a point I made last night. SM get money from those activities, so they probably don't care, but they didn't want Sica and her soon-to-be-hubby profiting from "their" creation. SM are ****ing freaks

Can't wait for Red Velvet's Salute era! They are going to kill it!
~+~
As for Kara, my girls aren't dead yet! Mamma Mia is one of the strongest bops of the year, and has garnered a lot of positive buzz for Kara 3.0. Moreover, Youngji is gaining GP love through Roommate. This is not the end of Kara. This is a new beginning. And they have started it right!
~+~
I'm not here for 6NSD. I can take seven-unit SNSD though.

If she's out of the group by the end of the next promotion, why she launchs her branch NOW, why not wait until she's officially out of the group and devotes all her time for that line. Of course she's using her last 15 minutes of fame. Even though she did not mention the group, she's still SNSD's Jessica by default
The fact that she's still looking for a school means that she's not ready yet to set up her branch. Tyler Kwon is a businessman and he knows that what's best for promoting the company.
If she wants to leave to get married or be on her own career then fine, i respect that. But shouldn't she devote all her last hours as a SNSD's member to the group instead of doing her own thing? Won't she have all the time for herself after leaving the group? Launching her brand at this sensitive moment is a stupid thing and it is indeed the last straw

Yes, there's no discussion about kicking her out of the group, that's why she shocked. But i implied that she did plan on leaving the group. That's the important thing.
