Lady Gaga is used to being number one, with all three of her studio albums thus far - The Fame (2008), Born This Way (2011) and Artpop (2013) - topping the list but the last of these was comparatively a critical and sales failure, and has sold just 204,310 copies thus far, compared to the gargantuan 2,896,724 copies that The Fame sold (3,063,164 in The Remix is included), and even the 986,847 copies that Born This Way has sold. Her fourth album, Cheek To Cheek, really rings the changes, and finds Gaga in collaboration with octogenarian crooner Tony Bennett on a selection of standards. It has had a cool reception from her 'little monsters', a fact reflected in its debut at number 10 on sales of 10,469copies. Both from New York, the Italian-American duo - 28 year old Gaga was born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, and 88 year old Bennett was born Anthony Dominick Benedetto - are the most disparately aged pair to have a chart album, with nearly 60 years between them.

if DWUW had a music video that alone would've helped ARTPOP to go 300k + considering DWUW was becoming huge in the UK, and many other places as well...

If her next album sells more, it will be an improvement, u know that's what the haters like to say about their faves "at least she is improving"

Not really, but it is the kind of album which could be big during the holiday season. It will get a small boost when she tours there in a couple of weeks and if they have a couple of high-profile promo spots in November/December it can easily scan Gold imo. The fact it kept climbing all week on the midweeks means it is far less frontloaded than a typical Gaga release.

What are the worldwide predictions for Cheek to Cheek? If she's doing 120k+ in the USA will she pull at least 200k worldwide for the first week? I want this to eventually outsell ARTPOP.
Well the last update for the ARTPOP was back in May and for the fame monster and born this way in November of 2013 while the remix update was back in 2012
