I'm saying that Fergie's sound overlaps with Iggy's. I'm also saying that if Fancy wasn't a massive hit this year, boosting the success of similar sounding DJ Mustard songs as well, then they might have picked something else instead. Iggy didn't push that entire sound herself, but her song is the most popular one from it therefore she plays a minor part in it.
You can give credit to radio if you want to but radio picked Iggy and the sound I talked about, so they kind of go hand in hand...
