I'm sorry but this doesn't sound like the Adele I fell in love with. If this is true, then it was really crappy of her not to tell him a damn thing and leave him waiting.
Collins was actually the only one who came off unusually to me actually. Adele's been elusive in just about every regard for years now, and I can see that extending to her career in order to keep this music as much under-wraps as possible. And he did say how she was sweet and nice and talented and all that jazz, which sounds very normal Adele for me. On the other hand, he claims to not have known who she was, okay, but then he works with her and she plays him something and he won't give her a read on what he thinks of it? I would feel really awkward in that situation. There don't seem to be any hard feelings from his side, though
She probably moved because she was having Peanut. She temporarily stopped music production to spend time with him. So it's all cool! Haha.
Oh, I assumed it was after he was born! Regardless, that makes sense, but are we sure she was actually working on stuff prior to having Angelo?

Aretha's version gets a no from me as well. The changes just make it like she doesn't know the song, and she can't hit the chorus at all :/ My favorite cover remains John Legend's, but nobody can touch Adele.
I think Adele's trying out new people and realizing some of them just don't mesh with her as well as people she's worked with previously, and trying houses because she wants to find one she likes best She could call the album "Great Changes"
Exactly. Not only does it sound like she doesn't know the song, but her vocals are so bad in the chorus it's not even funny. For someone who claims to be the Queen of Soul, she just did this song so much injustice.... She should just retire now. Biggest mistake of her career was trying to cover that song. John Legend's cover was really good. His and Linkin Park's are my favorites. This was horrendous, though.
Yeah, I think Adele's experimenting a little bit, too. I mean... We already know her work with Diane Warren was successful, as far as we know, as they did write multiple songs together according to Diane. We know Ryan Tedder is more involved in the album this time around. I'm curious to see how many songs she does with Paul Epworth, though, and I'm also curious to see who else will be back from 21. Are there any producers or songwriters you guys want her to work with?

She's following up one of the biggest albums of all time. It has to be up to par or else she'll just fall off like everyone else. I doubt she wants to be viewed as someone who never lived up to their hype.
If it wasn't working then it was best she didn't work with them. She could have handled it better but like I said, she's probably way too nice to tell them that.
Right. I feel like if she did a song with someone like William Orbit, I don't know.... I just can't see her working well with people like that because he's more pop and she's more soul. I want her to continue to make soul music because that's the music she's good at.
I agree. But I'm very thankful that she didn't do what Lady Gaga did with ARTPOP and hyped it up to be this incredible album when it ended up being just okay in comparison to her other releases.
And speaking of Gaga, I know y'all don't like her for the most part, but what do you think of Cheek to Cheek? I thought it was great and I truly think that Tony Bennett brought out the best in her! It was refreshing and I think society needs to hear music like this, and more people will because a high-profile artist like Lady Gaga is attached to the project.

I just did and she was like, "What the f**k?" She's like, "Thanks, honey, but what the hell was that for?" and I was like, "Um... Ichinaru told me to because you stanned hard for Adele and went crazy when I played Aretha Franklin and demanded I turn it off!" and she's like, "Who the f**k is Ichinaru and what in the world does "stanned" mean?!?"
Just saying that it SOUNDS like she treated him like crap. And I would be disappointed if (IF) it was true... maybe it's just poor wording, whatever.
Honestly, I feel like it's always this way with her though. We never hear from her so we never get to hear her side of the story. I don't think she'd ever come off as rude. I imagine there was probably a huge misunderstanding regarding it.
I remember, for instance, thinking she was going to be a completely different person before she appeared on the Golden Globes since she had a kid, etc and then as soon as she opened her mouth, all of that went away. I doubt she's ever going to change.
I almost wish she would change when it comes to her clothing though. Black every time is getting a little tiring. Personally, I don't care but I'm sick of seeing the comments about her always wearing black whenever she steps out.

Hmmmm reading that interview with Phill and from what Adele said, i get the feeling that she perhaps finished the song with someone else and felt it was good enough and just said what she did to let him go easily.
It doesn't sound mean to me and is probably how it happens most of the time in the music industry. And behides i get the feeling Phil wasn't really into making music nowadays and probably wasn't as up to his game as he used to be but thats just me

OMG! I CAME IN HERE TO POST THIS! IT'S SO GOOD!
Oi! It was after he was born!! I'm thining he was born in 2013. Oi. He's sooooo old. His 2nd birthday is coming up soon (and a new single )
Hmmm. Nothing stands out. Just as long as she sticks with Epworth then I'm happy.
LOVE Cheek To Cheek! Favorite Gaga so far. And Tony is classic.
Not a fan of Lorde at all and really didn't like the chorus of the song.

I didn't respond to this earlier, because when I see a lot of text I'm getting lazy and I'm skipping it
I love GaGa and Cheek to Cheek it's great album, but I found it a little bit lifeless
She has amazing vocals and it bugs me that she's showing them only in her life performances! Why GaGa? Why?! They are so flawless Use them in your records
