Is a re-release even profitable at this point? The GP only uses two out of the five songs her team has put out so far, so unless she releases something TFM quality (which, let's be honest...) I just don't see it in the cards for her.
The fact that the Prism era really did turn out like BTW 2.0 (except slightly more successful) like the Monsters had been predicting from the beginning. A shame since it's the only album of hers I actually use.

BTW was easily more successful than Prism though. Higher album sales, 4/5 singles went top ten in the US (though Judas is admittedly a flop), bigger tour, iconic controversial 1m opening week, etc.
Katy will probably recover more easily with her next era though since her instinct will be to pander to the GP as much as possible after an underperformance, rather than going further up her own ass like Gaga did.
