It's a Jazz standards album with Tony ****ing Bennett, I know it can snatch better than BTW and The Filler for god's sake.
For what it is (a jazz standards album), it's kinda lucky to be @ 70 atm. Most reviewers are kinda harsh about that sort of thing since it is kinda stagnant and generally a quick cash grab. At least the MetaCertified critics. It's nothing to stress about it. The critics have spoken pretty unanimiously that they enjoy the project.

I think it has less to do with the stigma and more to do with the fact that most major publications these days don't hire critics/experts in various musical genres. Most reviews are done by freelance writers and there are no requirements when it comes to the kind of music you listen to. As you've seen, all of the jazz experts have praised C2C while it's the pop fans and the pop reviewers who have bashed it, and that's obviously because jazz just isn't their thing.
She can sing ! Katy you dont have the guts to sig like this

Yes she can but who is katy?

You can tell whatever you want... Lady Gaga really sing
sadly she had a very weird wardrobe

Weird thing, Lady Gaga. She's actually talented, yet she spends all her time making a lot of ****** pop music.

I admit that I am usually leery about performers actual vocal talents (notice we used to call them "singers," but now they are "performers" or "artists"), but she can belt out a good tune.

All of her theatrics are too distracting for me. I like it simpler, like this. But I'm also an old man.
People in that "Lady Gaga auto tune" thread trying to tell me Gaga's voice on her old records sounds the same now. Gaga's natural voice is the voice we heard during 'Bang Bang'; her voice is deep, nasally, and "jazzy", not what you hear on most of her records.

I guess you're right. I still love her voice on songs like for example Just Dance tho
At the end of the day that was the Lady Gaga I fell in love with
I almost don't care how C2C performs now, because the absolute HUSTLE they're demonstrating is so damn satisfying after seeing them let ARTPOP fizzle and die.
I really hope they submit her Bang Bang live performance to the Grammys so that she can perform it there. It was a bit too shouty for me on record, but seeing her do it is quite powerful. Failing that, Lush Life is a MUST. I feel she'd have better luck with the former in terms of general song recognition, but Lush Life seems to be feat for a singer to pull off...so critically that may be superior?

Does it have to be released as a single to be submitted?
Mess, they should have stocked up on HSN editions. They could have sold another 5k easily. The draggings when CTC still debuts #3 despite all Gaga's and her team's efforts this weekend.
Still, it's amazing to see their passion and how much they're pushing this jazz album side project. I can't wait to witness how they plot Gaga's solo pop comeback. Bobby is slaying.

Sure Dance In The Dark was submitted and nominated for a Grammy and it was an album track. The Grammys love strong live recordings (see Beyonce and ADELE). Considering this is also a recording on an extremely respected PBS special, it will definitely have a chance if they sumbit it.
