I saw those. I have faith since I kinda stan for Hathaslay, McConaugod, and Chastwin. I know most people have kinda flip flopped on Inception but it is still my favorite Nolan film and I hope he can top it with this one. God knows I want it to.

I know she's supposed to say these things, but God this made me so excited.
But I agree. And judging by the reactions we've been getting from the secret screenings, I think that might just happen.
There's a scene in Freeheld where they're at a lesbian club where there's a Shakira video playing (takes place in 2005/2006) and all the lesbians are ogling her.
And in another scene they're listening to Xtina's I Turn To You (poor Britney).
I wish Nolan did another thriller like Memento and The Prestige. We already had Inception which was great and it smashed too, there's no need for similar movies.
It may be a positive score, but that review is tragic There are certainly people on ATRL who could do a better review than that.

Pike is phenomenal. She's been waiting for a role this good for a while, and she knocks it out of the park. So much of what makes this story work is class conflict, and Pike basically embodies it. It's why I'm glad a Brit played the part.
As far as the Oscar? Sure. If this movie is a hit, it will be hard to stop her, as it's the type of role people talk about. If it flops, then she likely won't win. It's a hard character to really empathize with (though she does get you there).
