Anyways, this thread is oozing with irrelevant, baseless comments about Tony's/Gaga's success. It's
embarrassing when you're presented with good numbers and STILL try to degrade this discussion.

Nice numbers for Tony, his previous Duets & Duets II were marketed as a copilation of covers of him and a bunch of other stars, big names of the industry. However this time his album was promoted to be just him and the weird dressing girl who sings dance tunes(or whatever his target demographic calls her) so it is to expect a "decline" because gaga is no where near her 2009-2011 level and why would the people who bought artpop buy this? So it's basically a chunk of her loyals, and the rest is all tony and the jazz audience who usually buys his stuff, and they knew this album didn't feature a bunch of stars, just tony and that girl, so cknsidering the 180k + 3 years of sales decline + lack of familiarity of gaga an this new audience this decline seems pretty logical

The effortless expose. The same ones dragging it's 120k prediction right now were also the ones screaming it would flop and never see above 100k first week. They're so transparent.
I predicted 80k-120k, so I was on track at the high end of it. Surprised to see them so close to #1 as well.
