I only liked Shakira's "Whenever" song, that Alanis Morrissette-copycat song she released this year, "Hips Don't Lie" and one other song, so I don't know her. She sounds like a sheep.
25k. They shipped them but they shipped them back.
I actually tried buying C2C at Target today and they told me they didn't ship it to any Target in the area. Was kinda really pissed because I wanted to hear the deluxe songs but at least I have money.

Target sent me my copy of Federline 2 Federline today and the case was cracked. Symbolism

Talking about talent and then focusing on pop music is pointless because there is nothing more limiting than pop music. You have to fit within a very tiny box.
Bruno, JT, Chris Brown, P!nk are not more talented than all the pop girls sans Beyonce.
The reason there are more talented male pop artists is because male sex doesn't sell like female does. Female talent is not what's sold, it's their beauty that is. Beyonce would not be a success without the body she has. Katy would have never made it if she looked like Bonnie McKii nor Rihanna if she looked like Ester Dean.
Female popstars have to be pretty; they don't have to know how to sing.
Azealia is still mocked for all of her Twitter adventures though; in fact you could easily argue they have ruined her career.
Not necessarily true when men do the same things online. Tyler the Creator is messy but gets away with it. The whole internet attacked Azealia when she called Perez a ******, but (maybe I missed it?) I haven't seen a huge backlash for Snoop Dogg's ****** Instagram post, even though he's a lot more visible. I'm sure there are lots of other examples.
But the point is, even after all the backlash, Azealia Banks didn't back down, she didn't change her personality, she didn't go on an apology tour like Janet Jackson did after Nipplegate, she said, "F** you" and continued on with her life (which is what Janet should have done). Then, she destroyed Iggy Azalea, T.I. and his ugly wife later, all in one swoop. If you're a woman, and going to be uncontrollably emotional and go off, go off like a man, not like a fragile woman. Be O-Ren Ishii. Not Gaga.

How are the bonus tracks?

Can someone tell me Cher's best sings pre-80s? Kinda love what Godga did with Bang Bang (though she kinda shot herself in the foot by making it an extra. Wtf would you not want people to hear your best live performance ever?) so I listened to Cher's and quite like it too. Anyone?
Taking the hallowed stage lit only by an overhead spotlight, Lorde began with “Glory and Gore,” traipsing around in a cape and dancing in that jerky, semi-possessed way only Lorde can. This is the kind of pop star I wish we’d had when I was growing up, one who writes insightful lyrics about the pains of adolescence, yes, but also one who makes flailing look cool.
That delicate balance between introspective angst and pop star bombast has made Lorde one of the more interesting breakouts of the last few years, one who can be taken seriously by Pitchfork while getting the tweens out in droves on a school night. When she defiantly smirked “let ‘em talk” at the end of show (and album) closer “A World Alone,” one got the sense that Lorde would have people talking for a long time to come.

Hmm, you make a good point. Good thing GodGa does jazz as well.

NO, this is not that case. The representation of ethnic minorities by the media is severely negative in comparison to groups in power (ie. whites). Police brutality targeting these same groups. Stigmatization of hiring workers with "ethnic-sounding names". The list goes on. And even in situations where the laws implemented look "fair", it is all a farce. Do you think those police officers in Arizona cared that illegal status doesn't equate to brown skin or a hispanic accent; of course not.
You are letting your male privilege blind you, in the same way that white privilege prevents individuals from completely understanding the situations racially disadvantaged groups have to face.
I know. It's sad, especially when he can admit that black artist have been historically slighted and not given their just due based on their race.

She's the origin of every album concept/imagery, she writes on every record she releases, she always has the music video in her head for every single, etc.
Most important, she knows how to create a hit like no one else. And before the "it was her team!!!" BS see Kesha, Britney, etc.
