Does anyone give credit to Dr. Luke, RedOne, and all the other males behind the scenes? People think it's all the females they listen. If anything, males have definitely taken a backseat, though we have seen a bit of a resurgence in the mainstream.

I feel like it depends on the audience of the artists' music and how they're marketed. If it's Katy Perry then yes, the fans will not care how involved she is in the music, as long as it's good and she looks pretty in the videos. I think it's not very fair to discredit the female artists' input though, like Ainsworth said, Gaga wouldn't be where she was if she didn't rely a little on her own artistry and brain to make creative choices. I agree with Nicole, men and women, for the most part, both have their strengths with women in front of the camera and men working on production. One can't fully thrive without the other.
