Taylor's excellent performance aside, at the end of the video, she made the legendary Brooks & Dunn, both of them, soooo happy. Considering the background of this special event, as the host, Taylor really did great job. Her opening introduction was the best.
Yasss I hope she just country taylor on hiatus and not kill her like Miley killed Hannah.... I honestly thought taylor would be the next Dolly Parton
I still think of her the next Dolly tbh Dolly has done pop as well, but that doesn't mean she left country. I think Taylor will be the same. She never would "kill" country Taylor. The entire way she seems to be presenting this pop album is that she wants to do a pop album right now. But that doesn't mean forever.
The way she says 'at this particular time" clearly means she likely wants to do Country in the future, and she doesn't want people to think she's done with the genre :micheal:
Well for sure is a good album. These are the words from a person who loves her music, but is not a crazy obsessed fan, actually Taylor is a fan of her videos so she was invited personally by Tree, she is like a Pilates guru or something.

Next, I heard some of the girls start to shriek. Then the whole living room went bozonkers…to the moon!! Taylor walked in.
It was so precious to see these girls crying, not being able to breathe, and basically LOSING IT because they never ever thought this moment could ever happen. And it was HAPPENING right here, right now, in Taylor’s house. All of these girls and a few boys were chosen from twitter for their support of Taylor. They were some of her HUGEST fans.
After everyone pulled it together (it took a good 5-10 min), Taylor said she wanted to play her whole album for us and explain one by one what each song was about and what/who it was inspired by. To me, this was awesome because I’ve always wondered…who really were the boys she was pining over? What did she really mean by this lyric? I respect Taylor a lot because she actually writes her own music unlike some other pop stars and she started her career at 14. It is incredible to listen to her thought processes and her creative mind-flow.
1989 is an all pop album. No country songs. I was a little afraid because I love the country Taylor. Her transformation from country pop to pure pop is a bold move, but let me tell you – girl pulled it off and she pulled it off well!
Good sis treacherous, please post here more often, especially when you dislike dragging Taylor. BECAUSE when you were posting, nobody was dragging her. Love you
BTW, Great Username is one of the smartest here, and he (I always feel that he is a she) definitely loves Taylor, just ignore him when he is in dragging mode

I predicted that track 13 the Imogen Heap collaboration would be released as the second single, because it's the most unique track, and the most different from Shake It Off. Now, based on all the reviews, it might also be one of the best on 1989.
Anybody challenge me for Imogen Heap collaboration being released as the second single?

So far it appears as if the Imogen Heap song is the best song on the album, so, therefore, Taylor will keep it an album track.

The one about a fellow pop singer or the one that is called similar to a popular band´s member.

Definitely agree with this. I could easily see her doing 1989 and maybe one more pop era, then doing a total 180 into legit country or maybe something else. Lord loves ALL music and I think she will always follow her heart Especially if 1989 opens really huge again; it will just prove that her fans are here because she's Taylor, not because she makes/made country music. Gives her lots of freedom.
Imogen Heap collaboration is definitely the most unique track on 1989, after Shake It Off, most likely Taylor will release a totally different song as second single, so it's a perfect choice. Imogen Heap collaboration just happens to be one of the best, after the album release, I'm sure you guys will find your own bests.
