Kanye West’s whole career has been centered around the power of self-love, and “i” has an even closer analogue in Nas’ 2003 be-what-you-wanna-be single “I Can.” And musically, the guitar-heavy production resembles hits from Outkast. (Lamar has listed André 3000 among his heroes.)

An extremely uplifting song that would sit comfortably on an Outkast record, Lamar sings "I love myself" in one of the catchiest choruses he has dropped to date.

Very easy to see how many people don't like change by using this as an example. Change and experimentation are good, people. It's what kept 'Kast sounding fresh and keeps Kanye relevant. Simply making the same music lacks imagination, creativity, and trust in your skills. Now with change comes people who won't like it, and there's nothing wrong with that, but just wait to see what else he has in store because something else he might try differently you might enjoy a lot! Great song by the way, a mix between Happy (Of all things) and Humble Mumble

You can tell Outkast influences so much of his music. This dude is pure talent and exactly what HipHop needs. GKMC was amazing.

He should put Outkast on the remix if he makes one.

Not what I expected but it makes me very happy. Outkast and Kanye-vibes and a killer finish, great stuff.

I can't see anyone other than outkast or maybe TDE doing a decent remix for this.

I got tickets to see USher on the day of the concert. My block was to the extreme left of the stage, so I could see the behind of the stage.

Behind the stage there were 2 backing singers doing all the vocals while USher danced badly.
