There's eligible positive reviews to add and they have yet to add them.
Yet they broke their hip running to add that 60 from BB and the Slant review was the first one they added This is an embarrassing mess at this point.

A great review (an A-) came in from The Plain Dealer in Cleveland! Not sure if it's Metacritic-eligible, but here it is:

Yet, the only thing shocking about "Cheek to Cheek," Gaga's collaborative album of jazz standards with Tony Bennett, is just how good it is. Gaga holds her own with the musical icon on an album that will likely be a contender for Album of the Year come Grammy night.

EDIT: Oh, wait, this has already been posted, and it's not MC-eligible

I'd rather she comment on positive reviews than go "**** YOU, JAZZ MUSIC" or "Would you critique a jazz singer if you were not a jazz singer". Tbf, Gaga really has been a lot less messy overall in the C2C era. I'm glad she's happier.

The Telegraph reviewed her performance in Brussels, but not the album yet.
Still, if this is anything to go by, the review could be positive.

Really bad album, awful Lady Gaga vocals and lyrics. Tony better run.

Oh. You gotta love KittyCats

4/5 from the Telegraph for the performance is good. Hoping for the same or more for the album.

ClassicaLite: Positive

Ultimately, there's no mistaking the value Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett add to the Great American Songbook. Cole Porter and Irving Berlin were once staples of early-century American song sculpture, and it's indeed a treat to hear them again here.

Cheek to Cheek: Lady Gaga, Tony Bennett have unique chemistry on classics
Quote:
Gaga, who says she intends to record more jazz albums, has great potential as a jazz singer. She could learn much from Bennett — who, early in his career, often sang in a stiff operatic voice before becoming more relaxed and jazzy once he started recording albums of timeless standards.

On an unrelated note, why did they have to make song titles so long back in the day? I have to abbreviate every other song title on the album.

Newsday: A-
Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett's gorgeous jazz
Quote:
Those expecting some weird culture clash, some cross-generation battle of wills between Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett will be disappointed. "Cheek to Cheek" (Interscope/Columbia) is a straightforward jazz album, gorgeous and well crafted, with Gaga supporting the masterful Bennett at every turn. Perhaps the biggest surprise is how well Mother Monster keeps up with him on classics like "Anything Goes" and "I Won't Dance."
On the title track, their vocals provide the fireworks, Gaga's brassy harmonies punctuating the way a horn session normally would have. But the album's best song, an understated "Don't Wait Too Long," belongs to Bennett.

Don't they give everyone a 90 or higher
Her label must not have paid them

‘Cheek to Cheek’ is pretty breezy and solid and I definitely appreciate whoever’s decision

So, to summarize; ‘Cheek to Cheek’ is full of amazing songs and low on crap. I didn’t expect to like anything from it and yet I find myself singing some of these songs in my head. I’ll consider that a win for Bennett & Gaga. Bravo!

A sassy Gaga belts out her lines, while Bennett is, as always, elegant and precise in his phrasing.
