It's cause the melodies are catchy and the instruments are so good. It will make top 10 IF taylor promotes it right. It has enough pop that will attract the GP's attention.
I would say the song w/Imogen Heap came close.
Do you mind me asking what kind of instruments were used throughout the album?! Was there a lot of electrical guitar?? Obviously there are drums, but are there any instruments that are unexpected?!
Give or take. The majority says "Speak Now" is her best album, so I would consider the fans opinions saying 1989 is better than SN an ode to saying 1989 is her best album. Even if it was RED>> SN (which I say are pretty tied to being her best album) it still signifies that 1989 is the best regardless
treacherous, sis, do you happen to remember what that guy on twitter was talking about when he said there was a song with a "pro-gay" lyric? Can you spill anything about that?
I would say that Enchanted is better than ATW because it has a flawless production (probably her best) to go along with flawless lyrics. Where as ATW has a weaker production with flawless lyrics.
I would put SBT as the fourth, followed by Holy Ground.
Enchanted > All Too Well for sure.
Her three best songs are Treacherous, Love Story & Enchanted.
I wonder if we'll get songs like BA where they compliment her vocal range, rather than straining them like the MM produced tracks(SIO being the worst offender).
To the person who was saying the I Heart IKYWT performance was "overrated", lemme break it down for you as to how BAD ASS this performance was. First of all, she did it without any backing track, without any backup singers, without any backup dancers. It was just Taylor herself leading a high energy song. Her vocals were on point, even throughout the "ohhhs". Her dragging her right foot to "and I heard you moved on, from whispers on the street, a new notch in your belt, is all I'll ever be" was great. The emotions when she started to sing "he was long gone when he met me, and I realize the joke is on me" The "oh" where she would usually put her foot down on the dancers stomach, she pulled off beautifully by herself. The EMOTIONS during the bridge "and the saddest fear COOMMESS creeping in, that you never loved me, or HER or anything!!!! YEAHHHHHHHH (flawless belt)......."so shame on me NNOOOWW!! (Another flawless adlib). Her strutting back to the main stage with anger and her hair blowing And finally comes one of the best parts of the performance, where she changes the pitch higher "NOW IM LYING ON THE COLD HARD GROUND!!!!" MY GOD!!! ****ing PERFECTION!! How could anybody say this was overrated??
Hey guys! I'm a long time lurker and finally had a chance to create an account a while back
I'm one of the fans that got to attend the listening party and let me tell you it was absolutely amazing. I also want to let you guys know something. Please do not reblog, retweet, re-whatever the song titles and the descriptions of the songs, it definitely helps to prevent leaking the album. Sharing the song titles and descriptions makes it easier for hackers to get a hold of the songs. So please do not share the song titles and descriptions whatsoever, especially the ones on Tumblr and Instagram.
Taylor is so excited for everyone to hear the album so we have to do everything in our power to prevent leaks. We’re like family to her and she’s like a sister to us. Would you want to see your sister’s big surprise ruined? Of course not, so let’s do our absolute best in trying to protect the album until October 27.
Thanks so much!
Welcome! Are any of the songs as flawless as ' Stay, Stay, Stay' or 'Today Was A Fairytale'?
Ugh Meghan sis
It's noT that cuTe anymore if you keep covering SIO

I would say so. Most of the songs she played for us could easily hit Top 40, maybe even Top 10.
