To the person who was saying the I Heart IKYWT performance was "overrated", lemme break it down for you as to how BAD ASS this performance was. First of all, she did it without any backing track, without any backup singers, without any backup dancers. It was just Taylor herself leading a high energy song. Her vocals were on point, even throughout the "ohhhs". Her dragging her right foot to "and I heard you moved on, from whispers on the street, a new notch in your belt, is all I'll ever be" was great. The emotions when she started to sing "he was long gone when he met me, and I realize the joke is on me"
The "oh" where she would usually put her foot down on the dancers stomach, she pulled off beautifully by herself. The EMOTIONS during the bridge "and the saddest fear COOMMESS creeping in, that you never loved me, or HER or anything!!!! YEAHHHHHHHH (flawless belt)......."so shame on me NNOOOWW!! (Another flawless adlib). Her strutting back to the main stage with anger and her hair blowing
And finally comes one of the best parts of the performance, where she changes the pitch higher "NOW IM LYING ON THE COLD HARD GROUND!!!!" MY GOD!!! ****ing PERFECTION!! How could anybody say this was overrated??
