Another song that jumped out to me in particular is called*Bad Blood. Im sharing this title because she already talked about it in*Rolling Stone. But taylor mightve wanted to cover it acoustically herself. Meghan doing it so prominently when the song is so new kinda negates her impact if she does. Meghan shouldve covered an older song. This seems more like trying to take away Taylor's ownership and transfer it and its impact to herself.

I totally agree with this, especially since Taylor herself plays the ukelele, maybe Taylor wanted to do a uke version And why is she performing it every chance she gets. It was cute the first time, now it seems as if she is just taking the song for herself It's kind of rude imo, and if I was Taylor, the writer/composer of the song, I might be a little upset too


Plus, it puts Taylor up for criticism. People might think that Meghan's ukelele version is better than Taylor's. I just don't think it is fair to Taylor

Yep imo its a way for her to take Taylor's spotlight off of Taylor and direct some of its focus on herself (Meghan) to try to make herself shine brighter. And its working to a degree so she'll keep doing it. I shouldn't wonder if SIO might still be top of itunes without meghan doing that.

That would be standard practice in situations like this and the prudent thing for Taylor and her team to do, but in all the accounts I read I never saw anyone mention them. Yes we did sign an agreement plus Taylor told us not to say anything about the song titles (even the ones already in the RS mag), the lyrics, or the descriptions.
