BJ has a bad rep on ATRL but I love most of the tracks, Passenger and BMS are probably my favourite album tracks. As for albums I'd recommend Circus, Femme Fatale and In The Zone from your picks, there's a lot of variety between them so they're really fun to listen to.

I've listened to and enjoyed both Circus and Femme Fatale, but I just can't seem to get into In the Zone. However, this is one of the albums I haven't listened to entirely, so do you have any standouts from the album that I should listen to?

Hmm I'd say after the singles, ITZ standouts would be Touch of My Hand, Showdown, Breathe on Me and Shadow. I find In The Zone makes more sense if you watch the ABC special as well.

The Hook Up and Early Mornin' are also great but seem to divide fan opinion. The Answer and Don't Hang Up are sweet bonus tracks.

I decided I give the whole album a listen, and my opinion remains the same unfortunately. However, I must thank you two for helping me to discover Shadow, which I absolutely love. I'll have a look at that ABC special some time when I have some more time on my hands.

Why are you saying this? Thare are some song in BJ that are really great lyrics and you can hear Britney input in it, like Dont Cry, Hold on Tight, Brightest Morning Star, Perfume and so on.. Its not her fault that production was horrible because she trusted Will.I Am and Anthony Preston who did horrible job on vocal editing. But the lyrics on some song are really sincere.
