based on actual gross (not gross inflated to 2014)
---
Katy is going to chart very high on the list, she could potentially reach #4 if she adds and has a successful SAmerican and Asian leg. However she is already at 129 dates and will not want to add too many more I assume
Katy can go top 5 if she makes another US/Australian leg (and if she expands to South America where she could grab 1.5-2m per show averages).

Yeap. She would need at least another 20 dates (30, more than likely) to reach the top 4.
The only thing ruining Katy's chances of being even higher on the list is Europe, that's going to drop her gross per show average which will be really high after Aus

Why? Is she touring smaller venues there or something?

No, but ticket prices are not as much there as Europe rarely has tickets higher than $150 max and Katy's are less then that I believe. Also, UK shows are genuinely the highest grossing European shows from most artists and hers were a little below average and could have been much better

not really. it's just that her NA and AUS legs are doing so well and the average is gonna be way higher as compared to what her UK leg did so it's gonna pull her average down if the reception and gross for the rest of her Europe leg will be the similar to her UK leg

Oh, i see how these two factors taken into consideration would contribute to a lesser average per show. Thanks for answering!
Either way, i think that even if some shows are not sold out, sheŽll still have some very good overall gross she should not be ashamed of
