Gag is extremely bitter and petty but it's not like she lied hihi.
Most of the sales of self-titled were before people have even heard one note. Once she started actually sending songs to radio and releasing the videos to Youtube, and perform the songs on the VMAs/Grammy's/Brits, people lost interest
It's still pretty disappointing that this wasn't Taylor's "****" era though. If you're going to go full pop might as well go all the way and actually take a risk with your image rather than "look I'm a dorky white girl who can't dance just like you".
But why do yall want pop music to look and sound all the same? Arent there enough pop stars who have done this? Im not a big fan of her but it's refreshing to see a pop girl selling something that isn't sex, we need more variety.
