This definition makes it even worse, but to me saying that the release was a trick to get people to pay attention for a "brief moment", sounds shady to me.

Actually you added more to what she said. In response to a direct question about Beyoncé and U2's release, she said that instead of thinking of different ways to trick people into focusing on your album, we should focus on how the media treats the artist..

Which honestly makes no sense begin with and doesn't even answer the question. I don't understand how calling it a trick and then adding "it's a great moment for her" makes the statement any better.

I just think it was a poor attempt to guide the conversation to an issue she feels is important.

Well, everybody knows that Gaga has terrible Twitter etiquette and is far too sensitive.

She always manages to make the situation worse, but I just don't see distaste towards Bey or U2 in her original statement.

Yeah like I said I don't think she has ill feelings towards Bey or U2, I just think it was a poor way to guide the conversation towards an issue she feels is important/effecting her.

Honestly this. I think she has given so much of herself to her fans and has been too open with the media. I think it becomes damaging after a while. Especially when you just want to regain your misteeq as an artist, and human being, and disappear for a while.
