Pop albums are usually cheaper. I am not sure how much "Prims" cost when it came out but i am pretty convinced it was less than $10.

Thing is, there mightve been a perfectly good reason Grant was let go. Might've been deserved, and even if not she has a right to decide to change her touring band. Im sure he was well compensated with a severance package.

I agree with your first statement. Didn't Robert Allen (tour manager) say just that? They go where there is a demand. They measure it on album sales in a particular country or region. Singapore surprised them.
I believe they do the same in the US. Orlando got two dates however Miami and Tampa only one date.
Grant always seemed like a bitchy diva. If there is suddenly too many guitar players, because of the nature of the new music, it was always gonna be Grant who gets the boot. We know Lord likes people who act professional.

It just seems somewhat unusual to see Taylor current/forthcoming album priced lower than her old ones. Maybe it is because it is a couple of songs shorter than Red, which was a long album.

Taylor's albums have always been expensive compared to the market. Just adds context to her amazing sales, that she can achieve those despite having an album at the top end of the price range is even more impressive.
