Ask lavris.gr the reason why they said on their official facebook account that the show will be completely sold out until today.
Ask Germanos, the ticket seller, why they told everybody that about 40k tickets have been sold for the show weeks ago.
Ask the official ticket seller website the reason why they put the whole upper section under SOLD OUT and not even all the the same time, but gradually.
Ask them why they added two new seating sections days ago.

I'm not gonna post photos to contribute to future draggings, but I can confirm it's true. I'm looking through pictures on Instagram from the concert and I can see the empty upper tier while Gaga is on stage.

I know a couple of people who live in Greece and kept saying that this is what was happening but I didn't understand exactly because everyone here was saying otherwise.

Anyone could go to the ticket sales website and check by themselves how all the upper level sections were indeed labeled as "sold out".
There was no message such as "tickets no longer on sale" or "tickets not avaliable" which could lead us to think those sections weren't even on sale in the first place. "Sold out" that was.

Are you sure there wasn't a mistranslation with "sold out" and "not on sale"?

If they didn't go on sale, they're not empty because people didn't buy them, they're empty because they didn't go on sale. Two completely different circumstances.

There's absolutely no one seated in the upper level, so yeah, I think it's pretty safe to say it wasn't even on sale. Still weird, though.
