More recognizable? I'm note going to be 100% accurate with the stats I'm about to throw at you but they'll be close enough.
Most all of her singles, even the UBER flops such as God Is A D.J., have gone Upper Top 20 (Just outside the top 10) on Pop Radio where she has among the most #1 hits. She also has a LOT of songs that peaked at #2. While she never had a song that lead to Joe Jonas wearing a leotard, her string of singles can be recognized by a LARGE percentage of people. Mostly because they're all still played to this day.
For every "To the left, to the left" Beyonce has, P!nk has a "Get this party started".
Singles and charts and acclaim and all that aside has Beyonce OWNED a country like P!nk has? Not just one era, but 4? In 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 she had the SECOND best selling album in the country. In 2010 she had the number ONE selling album. In 2012 she had the NUMBER ONE selling album. Guess what? In 2013 The Truth About Love was the NUMBER ONE SELLING ALBUM AGAIN.
That's a country of 20 Million + people that P!nk just slays. Even doing the fractions for the US, Beyonce doesn't come close to the relative impact P!nk has there. Add in every other country and P!nk is the clear winner.
