It'll surely be closer than before. She'll surely go #1 on Digital Sales, and will have more streaming, and slightly less airplay. So #1 on Hot100 Isn't impossible

and oh yeah, just want to make sure in case no one knows; Taylor is a terrible live singer! I know its gonna shock everyone but someone had to say it! I mean why does she even try? Why does she go out there every time and perform when no one wants to hear that! Even her fans, thats all they hear when she performs. They dont wanta be subjected to all that! Why dont she take three-four years off and take voice instruction instead of writing songs and making albums and touring? I mean, bitch probably never heard any criticism before so she dont know, but I mean its time we finally talked about this! I mean I been following her career sincd she was 16 and ive never heard anyone talking about it of seen any online commentary or nothing, but maybe its time some forreal goshdarned trained singers and critics and stuff pointed it out and mentioned it every bloody time she opens her mouth. Its time we as fans discuss this in the most mocking ways we can think of, since its never been done before!

And don't noneya all be getting upset at me saying this stuffs; I mean its not like you've heard the same thing 6000 times of more in the last 8 years. Gotta stop this being deef fans and just appreciating what Taylor is good at and her strong points, We gotta belabor and attack her weaknesses! Who else will if we don't?

edit to add: Afterall some fans might actually enjoy her performances for what they are and realize Taylor has limitationx but love her for what she Can do. We gotta try to remind them 10000 times that her singing isnt good enough, and try and crush their enjoyment since we get none!

I think it's super presumptuous to assume she'll have more streaming tbh, with Meghan breaking records and having 15 mil streams last week.

nnn I meant she'll have more streaming for SIO than before, not more streaming than Meghan. She obviously won't. But SIO will fare better with streaming because it's now on Spotify.

It's not really surprising Taylor is in Vegas. She is performing there tomorrow night at iHeartRadio Music Festival. She needs to rehearse/soundcheck etc. There will be other acts performing too, so they will all need to do this and this needs to be scheduled.

From what I'm understanding, they count as sales until the album is released. Which then subtracts the sales & counts towards album sales? I thought that's what always happened so now I'm confused...

I think that if you buy the singles seperately from pre-ordering the album on iTunes then those sales will count as normal. Obviously this is most of them, as there have been 1.5 million sales of SIO so far, and most of these are not from album pre-orders.

You can have the countdown singles. Obtaining these just by pre-ordering the album won't count though. Pre-ordering the album will just count as one album sale when it is released. This is instead of one album sale AND a sale for instant grats. The change makes it fairer to me.

They could easily just put a single version up and keep the album LOCKED up minus SIO. That way they lose no sales and it counts

I mean, anyone buying the album is going to pay the same amount regardless, so it shouldn't really be a burden to make them click Buy one extra time each week.
