What makes her a feminist is ACCEPTING the position and being vocal.
The classification of being a feminist is quite simple, honestly. It's the belief in equal rights and presence for the sexes. It's not that complicated at all, which is why it's so hilarious (and sad) that many of the pop girls make sure to state outright that they AREN'T feminists.
Feminist is to fight for women rights...donating money n accepting positions doesnt make u feminist...is a title u have to fight for honey...
When she performed to the dictator and accepted his money (which was supposed to be charity money at first) and did not give back the money until AFTER the media exposed her. Also, she counted the Chime For change concert (which isn't even hers) to her tour gross, and you're here bragging about her benevolence
No one is deluded here but the Beyonce stans.
It was donated over a year before the media exposed all those celebs.
d. Can you put on your glasses and read?
Counting it as part of a tour gross because she's the headliner negates the fact that the actual cash was all donated?
Exactly, where did those millions go? It remains a mystery. The only projects we hear about were funded through Catapult.
m. If you're really that curious, I'm sure you can find it with enough research.
But someone who's donated up to $7 million on some occasions doesn't really need to keep all that money.
What would Beyoncé have to do or say for you to concede that she does know something about feminism?
Why don't actual credible and academic feminists espouse the same viewpoint as you when they talk about Beyoncé?
Unlike you, I don't need validation from someone else for everything I say. Pretty sure that naming herself King B because queen wasn't big enough is not very feminist.
