lol, did any of you read the rest of the review? It's very technical, very accurate and very on point. Of course there will be a couple sentences introducing the singers before jumping into music itself. It's like that with anyone else. Death @ at ya'll trying to excuse Gaga's bad reviews recently due to these kind of elements in them.

Besides that paragraph is very accurate too.

Yeah, Pitchfork probably won't waste their time, but I still have some hope. It would be interesting to see what they think about an album like this. The A.V. Club are a strange one, because they are generally more positive in their scores, but when it comes to mainstream releases they will occasionally drag. SPIN tends to be similar to Slant and Pitchfork so I am expecting a 5 or 6 from them. Consequence of Sound tends to not be as harsh as Slant, so I am expecting a 6 or 7. Drowned in Sound are kind of unpredictable, but they usually are harsh, so I would expect like a 4 or 5 as well.

I did read everything. But when the author starts their article by dragging the artist when it's not even necessary, you know damn well the article isn't fair, and that's the truth.

They literally had NOTHING good to say about either Tony or Gaga, though.

Some of the clips we saw on the HSN special were fantastic, so they surely should have at least one or two nice things to say about their performances.
