I don'f understand why people are trying ARTPOP. Call me when any of our faces are scoring 5 #1s selling 7M WW in 2014 and grossing 7M per date on tour... She's the only one doing it and the pressed will need to learn to deal. She is the queen of pop. ARTPOP is the highest selling album of 2013/14 for a reason.

She's right. She isn't saying the album was her best selling one or that she didn't had it rough this era, but she's saying that the album succeded at least in inspiring people. The media was after her the moment Applause dropped until SWSX and you can't deny it, everyone wanted to make her look unsuccessful.

She may be trying it a bit with the "contemporary art rave and love" tho And I doubt anyone knows what Twista is saying in his JnD verse or what language is Gaga speaking during Donatella's chorus.

Stop harping about commercial success. PERIOD. Stop reminding us about Artpop's commercial shortcomings... Yeah, okay it didn't set the world on fire. Oh well? it's a good album, most of the fans are happy with the music and the GP is flocking in drones to see you on tour. I really don't think you need to concern yourself.

It's the same case with DWUW, and a good chunk of the Artpop campaign, she wants to proclaim that she's self aware of the criticism around her, and show everyone how it dosen't bother her (her SNL skit is a real testament) to this. But when all you talk about are your haters, your detractors and your failures as a commercial pop artists it just goes to show how much it's affecting you... It was witty and interesting when she first started doing it, (i.e. ARTPOP Film - Gaga is Over) but it just ended up looking, honestly a little desperate.

Gaga, don't give a f*ck. Your a millionaire with a hot boyfriend, and your doing what you say that you love to do every night... perform. The fact your album sold just shy of 2 million copies ww, shouldn't be that much of a big deal.
